Für die Pankreasanastomose bei der partiellen Pankreatoduodenektomie bestehen zwei operative Techniken, die Pankreatojejunostomie und Pankreatogastrostomie. In den meistenklinischen Zentren wird zur Rekonstruktion der Anastomose die Pankreatojejunostomie vorgenommen. Obwohl die Pankreatogastrostomie ebenfalls ein seit langem bekanntes Verfahren ist, das klinisch erstmals in den vierziger Jahren des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts erprobt und seither von verschiedenen Gruppen erfolgreich angewandt wurde, fand diese Methode jedoch bisher keine breite Akzeptanz.
Denis Simunec analysiert in einer retrospektiven Studie die zwischen 1988 und 2000 an einer Klinik gesammelten Ergebnisse nach Pankreatogastrostomie sowie Pankreatojejunostomie und wertet diese aus. Der Autor ermittelt mögliche Unterschiede bezüglich der Lebensqualität und langfristiger funktioneller Ergebnisse aus einem zum Zeitpunkt der Studie noch lebenden Patientenkollektiv.
Der Autor: Jahrgang 1976; Abitur; Ausbildung zum Elektrotechnischen Assistenten; Studium der Humanmedizin an der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover; Promotion. Denis Simunec lebt und arbeitet als Arzt in Bremen.
